Crocodile conservationists have had to grapple with conflict for several years. But a unique situation in the Charotar, near Anand in Gujarat, is upending accepted views on crocodile and human behaviour. Although it seems impossible, both people and the reptiles get along with little friction. This remarkable relationship may offer a way of resolving alarming events taking place in Vadodara and elsewhere in the country.
